London Fashion Week: think the hustle and bustle of London –
except everyone’s dressed in the most enviable clothes you’ve ever
“The team and myself were very excited,” explained Nailberry founder, Sonia Hully. She, along with her Nailberry team, took to backstage at LFW to work on the hands of the models showcasing the collection of London based Felder Felder. We worked with the twin designers on the day of their show, Sonia spoke about the collaboration adding: “The Felder’s sisters really like our 4 free chemical formula and healthier side of our nail polish so it was a perfect match for us.”

Nude nails seemed to be4all over the catwalk at LFW this year – but why? Bare nails do seem to complement many garments, especially bold, bright ones. It’s easy to understand that some designers would not want the nails to overshadow the clothes so may choose a nude colour, others may decided upon it for the clean, pure aesthetic
Sonia had a briefing with the designers the day before the show, where they all agreed a nude would be ideal for their collection. There are a few nudes to choose from in our range, however Lait D’Armande was “loved by all, so was very quickly decided” added Sonia, speaking of the meeting.

Although on the actual day it was left up to Sonia’s team of Elli and Anna to paint the nails of the models, which went incredibly smoothly for a busy backstage area. The Nailberry team are very keen to work on more shows, as well as the salon in Chelsea, so watch this space!

It’s far from nude that Sonia will be wearing this season however, letting out: “I love Storm, one of our new colours.” You can buy the almost back-slightly-glittery varnish here: http://www.nailberry.co.uk/shop/storm/ !!! Happy shopping!
