Directions for use

Wash your hands then moisten a lint-free cotton pad with nail polish remover and sweep over your nails to remove lingering varnish, oils and impurities.

File and buff your nails to smooth any uneven areas and achieve your desired length, then apply one coat of Strengthen & Breathe Base Coat – our fortified yet breathable formula to help strengthen the nail.

Apply one thin coat of your chosen Nailberry polish, using our wide, tapered brush to flawlessly coat your nail from base to tip. Work on both hands to allow each layer to dry.

Follow with a second thin coat, ensuring a vivid, professional-quality finish to each nail. Allow to air dry.

Prolong wear, prevent fading and deliver outstanding shine with a final layer of our revolutionary and breathable Shine & Breathe Top Coat.

How to use

STEP 1 - Prime & Protect

Dip brush into chosen Nailberry Base Coat, remove excess from brush, then apply one thin layer to each nail. Allow 2-3 minutes for base coat to dry fully.

STEP 2 - Colour

Dip brush into chosen L’Oxygéné Colour, remove excess from brush, then apply one thin layer to each nail. Allow 2-3 minutes to dry, then apply a second thin layer to each nail and allow to dry.

STEP 3 - Lock-in shine & long-wear

Dip brush into chosen Nailberry Top Coat, remove excess from brush, then apply one thin layer to each nail. If you follow all 3 steps, allow 10-15 minutes for your manicure to completely dry.

Expert tip: To speed up dry time, add a drop of Dash and Dry Oil to each nail.

Love this one. It’s not truly black. It’s beautiful most unusual. I think any age could wear it

opaque dark gray with a veryyyyy mild shimmer

It's basically just a dark gray with a very mild shimmer that does not show up much. Also, it's basically fully opaque. I'm not sure why it's labeled as semi-sheer. Honestly, I was a bit sad about this shade. I expected the shimmer/glitter to be more noticeable and for it to be like a black jelly sheer base, which would've been a really fun and unique shade, but it's still a cute color, just not what I expected, which was sort of something that would resemble a starry night sky but it's just an opaque grey. 5 star cause the formula is great as always I have honestly a dumb amount of nailberry polishes it's just not the color I expected.

Not the same staying power as other shades

First of all I want to make it clear that I absolutely love Nailberry. They are the most beautiful polishes that last for ages and they are the only brand I wear now as they far exceed all others. However, this shade didn’t as it chipped badly and peeled off the next day. My nails were a mess and I was working at an important event. Having said that the shade is gorgeous, it a smouldering, gleaming charcoal but it didn’t last and made my nails look terrible. Perhaps all polishes behave differently on different people so it might last on you and it’s certainly a gorgeous colour.

Surprisingly easy to wear!

Okay, I'll start by saying that I'm a 48yr old devotee to plain neat natural nails (e.g. I don't do manicures/pedicures but I have been known to wear a French polish or 'rouge noir' for special occasions). I've already Nailberry's pale pink, which I love as it looks remarkably like my own nails only better, but my 10yr old daughter asked for something a little more 'Tween' - like her friends get to wear out of school. So I ordered a lilac-blue and minty green (both look just as they do on screen), and to justify delivery costs put this off-black "50 Shades" into the basket too. It'd come in handy for Halloween, if nothing else, I thought. Well, I have to say it's my new all time favourite. It is slightly shimmery, but not glittery in any way. And looks so chic on my short nails (and toes). Thank you Nailberry.
